Before working with Ivelisse, the most frustrating thing I struggled with was that I felt like there was nothing I could do to control the outcome of my treatments with the doctor. By doing acupuncture, not only does it help me relax, but I also get to talk to Ivelisse about the process. She is able to give me tips and walk me through the stressful process.

After working with Ivelisse, I feel more confident, positive and relaxed in the process. I would and do certainly recommend acupuncture and specifically your clinic for women trying to conceive or pre and post-natal care. When I first came to see Ivelisse, I was a complete emotional wreck. I was lost and angry with my body.

As many couples, we went through an IVF with a positive outcome, right now I am 13 weeks old and I cannot wait to meet those two little babies. The experience for infertility patients will be personal and unique; particularly in my case, one of the doctors recommended me visiting an acupuncturist, so that, I started going to acupuncture session with Ivelisse DeJongh.

I thank GOD for the day I came in to Ivelisse’s Office, that day for the first time one person could explained me the meaning of my blood test results; for the first time somebody told me that we can improve the condition no just with this tiny needles over your body, but also with a customize treatment adjusted to your condition. This is not about a relaxation program this is about someone who teach you how to improve your health to reach this beautiful dream. I am 38 years old; I was diagnosed with a low ovarian reserve and a FSH of 12 (above the range) and a 20% chance of a success treatment. Once she had the results, she asked me for a 3 months to apply the treatment and I did it, at the end I have just one IVF cycle, my FSH dropped to normal level and I have 3 embryos frozen.

We are told by occidental doctors that acupuncture is not a guarantee that your IVF cycle will work, but believe me, acupuncture improve your chances of success, for example, improve uterine blood flow, which may create a more hospitable environment for implantation. It happened to me, acupuncture was a key in my recovering from my fibroids surgery.
